14 Elderly Pilgrims From Bangladesh Die in Saudi Arabia

At least 14 of the 55,000 Bangladeshi pilgrims, currently in the Saudi Kingdom, have died of old age or heart failure, a Tuesday report stated, according to Arab News daily. 

 

Thirteen people died in Mecca and one in Madinah, press reports said, adding five of the victims died of heart failure. 

 

An estimated 300 more pilgrims were reported to be sick and in field hospitals in Makkah run by the Bangladeshi authorities, the reports added. (Albawaba.com)
