The city of Marrakech has won the honor of hosting the 13th International Medical Congress of Neurosurgery. The event, which is scheduled to take place from June 19 to 24, will be held under the patronage of the Moroccan King, Mohammed VI. It is expected to attract about 5000 international scientists, coming from over 150 countries.
<i>Le Matin</i> reports that Morocco is the first North African country, which succeeded in gaining the international scientific community's confidence, and received the honor of hosting the event.
