1.25 billion Euros invested in Morocco

According to the assessment of MEDA program of the EU, a total amount of 1, 25 billion Euro was invested in Morocco in the past decade. La Presse reports that the cooperation of European Union and Morocco started in 1996 and since then European Union launched several projects in Morocco in the field of rural development, health and public administration the total of which reached 1,25 billion euros. Especially from 1996 to 1999, European Commission in Rabat launched several projects to support economic development and privatization process.
