In a press conference held in Rabat by Mohammed Kabbaj, the Moroccan king advisor and chair of the World Sacred Music Festival of Fez, Kabbaj announced that this year festival will bring together musicians and singers from about fifteen countries from all over the world. The event is scheduled to take place in Fez from June 3 to 11.
Among these singers and musicians that will gather to take part in the event, held under the title of "Ways of the Hope", are artists such as the famous Indian sitarist Ravi Shankar and the Spanish singer Teresa Berganza, who together with the Orchestra of Madrid, are going to open the festival.
Among the artists that will represent Morocco in this event, reports <i>Wanadoo Maroc</i>, is the Asmae Lemnawar, who together with the Moroccan Said Chraibi, will present material based on Islamic mystical texts.
