100 Orange volunteers participate in the company’s CSR campaigns

In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan and as part of the continuous charity programs targeting less fortunate segments of the society, 100 Orange Jordan volunteers participated in distributing 6 thousands Iftar meals in collaboration with Tkiyet Um Ali, through the meals on wheels concept that targets key poverty pockets in east Amman.

Commenting on the project, Orange's CEO Mrs. Nayla Khawam said: "It is of extreme importance that our employees interact with all society segments through our charity and social activities in order for our Corporate Social Responsibility programs to actually fulfill the goals, now that we are embarking on executing our CSR strategy following Eid Al Fitr.

"In addition to meals on wheels, our volunteers distributed food packages to 200 families in poverty pockets of Ghor El Safi and other places. They also participated in "Iftar and Eid for 1,000 orphans" campaign which provided assistance in four governorates; Kerak, Madaba, Zarqa and Ajloun", added Mrs. Khawam.

It is worth noting that Orange Jordan launched recently its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy which included providing support for local communities in a number of vital fields valued at JD3.5 million dispersed over three years period.
