Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon arrived in Paris Tuesday for an official visit as guest of French President Jacques Chirac. On Wednesday, Chirac is due to host Sharon for lunch at the Elysee Palace while Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin will give a dinner for him.
Meanwhile, a Jewish group of extreme-right activists said that they had held a ceremony to place a "pulsa denura", i.e. a a death curse on Sharon in order to bring about his death. Twenty people took part in the ceremony, which was held last Thursday in a small town in northern Israel. The participants believe that Sharon will die in the coming 30 days, or else all those who took part in the ceremony would die, Haaretz reported.
