A new plastic arts exhibition by the Moroccan Farid Belkahia was inaugurated on Monday evening at the seat of the Arab World Institute in Paris, in the presence of several Moroccan and French personalities of the world of art and the culture. The exhibition, titled “The Drift of the Continents”, was organized with the support of the Moroccan Ministry of Culture and is scheduled to continue until July 17.

EMarrakech reports that the exhibition is constituted from twelve circular works, made of cows’ skins and pigments, and from twelve world maps. These works are meant to represent the artist’s hope that man would reconcile with his origins and also to pay tribute to the work of the Moroccan geographer Charif Al Idrissi.
