Kuwait will not take part in any projects involving Israel, said Oil Minister Adel al-Sabeeh on Monday.
The minister’s remarks came in response to a reported proposal by Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmi to purchase stakes in the Egyptian-Israeli Midor refinery, reported the official Kuwait news agency (KUNA).
“The State of Kuwait will not take part in a project that involves Israel directly or indirectly, regardless of the economic feasibility,” he was quoted as saying.
