Democrats in Congress this week blocked another attempt by Republicans to kill the Iran nuclear deal. But while liberal lawmakers move the deal forward, Americans are losing faith in the agreement as time goes by.
A survey by the Pew Research Center in September shows support from Americans for the Iran nuclear deal fell drastically in the past two months alone, since the deal was struck on July 14. Here are the numbers.
The declining support also crosses party lines, with Democratic support falling 8 percent and Independent support falling 11 percent.
US President Barack Obama's administration invested a good amount of time to publicity on the Iran nuclear deal, including a Twitter account dedicated to selling the deal and answering all questions about it.

Support for the Iran deal seems linked to the publicity; the more people hear about the deal, the more support it garners, and as the media frenzy slows down, so does the approval.
