Jeremy Corbyn is the latest public figure to fall afoul of the term “Zionist” by assigning a blanket moral judgement to it. But both sides in the Israel-Palestine conflict do this, and it’s making progress harder. Zionism is not an insult. Nor is questioning the concept anti-Semitic. It’s a complicated political and religious phenomenon, and we need to talk about it.
