Agencies Downgrade Turkish Banks in Response to Market Volatility

International rating agencies Moody’s and Fitch downgraded a number of Turkish banks, including Bank Audi’s subsidiary Odea Bank due to their exposure to the country’s financial crisis.

It added that the subsidiary was never asked by Turkish authorities to take any specific measure with regard to combating money laundering and terrorist financing, as alleged the newspaper.
