GCC summit closes in Kuwait with leaders condemning Syria's Assad

The Gulf Cooperation Council's two-day summit in Kuwait ended Wednesday with leaders of the council condemning Syrian President Bashar Al Assad and calling for the withdrawal of all foreign troops from the conflict.

GCC will hold meetings in Kuwait over the next two days to discuss issues on economic integration, as well as more contentious issues such as the council's relationship with Iran (File Archive)
