ALBAWABA - Jordan's Public Security Directorate announced Monday that remains of a drone were found inside a house in the governorate of Karak.
The spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said that parts of a drone's wreckage were found this morning in a house in Karak Governorate, following its interception by the armed forces.
He clarified in a press statement that no injuries resulted from the incident, which was handled by the relevant authorities according to established technical and security procedures.
Earlier on the same day, the Jordanian army said it intercepted and shot down 2 drones targeting the kingdom.
The army added that the interception caused no casualties or property damage, Petra news agency reported Monday.
This comes amid de-escalation between the United States and Iran after Washington stopped new attacks on Iran since Friday, July 17.
Tehran responded with a halt to attacks on American military bases and assets in the Gulf and Jordan.
