What do Drake and ILOVEMAKONNEN have in common with Qatar’s kafala system? Well, most would probably say nothing; however, Amnesty International has found a way to seamlessly link the two.

Recently, the human rights organization released a severe report criticizing the inadequate reforms the Qatari government has made to its labor laws this year. As most organizations seeking to publicize their report, the group tweeted out a link meant to loop back to their findings. However, instead of taking the reader to the article, it actually linked to the Youtube page of ILOVEMAKONNEN’s collaboration with Drake on “Tuesday” an infamous party anthem that glorifies Tuesdays.

Ironically posted on a Tuesday, the tweet resurrects memories of clubs going up, as opposed to the importance of adding further reforms to Qatar’s exploitative labor system.

Click the link in the tweet and be eternally entertained. Cheer up Amnesty, it most definitely could have been worse.
