The Dutch City of Amsterdam will witness a festival for the films based on the novels of the Noble Prize winning Egyptian novelist Nageeb Mahfouz, according to the Qatari daily Al Rayah.
The Egyptian actor Noor Al Sherif and his wife artist Pusy, writer Mohammed Salmawi and director Hashem Al Nahhas will participate in the festival.
The festival, which will be held during the period between November 9-14, will screen a number of films based on novels written by Mahfouz and hold conferences on them.
Salmawi will present a special vision on the last group of novels entitled Dreams of Convalescence period written by Mahfouz – Albawaba.com
