Land transactions in Dubai during last week

The total value of land transactions in Dubai last week peaked at Dhs201.66 millions  of which sales exceeded Dhs108 million. The total value of mortgages during the period was Dhs93.2 million, according to the Land Department.

 

A total of 32 sale transactions were registered with the Department by the end of the week, the most valuable of which was a plot in Al Nahda Second that was sold for Dhs32 million. The next two most prominent sales saw a second plot in Nad Al Shiba acquired for the sum of Dhs5.921552 million and another in Al Bada for Dhs5 million.

 

The Emirates Hills First area was the most active in terms of the week's sales, with some 14 transactions. Hor Al Anz followed it with 3 sales.

 

During  the period, Al Nahda Second recorded the highest turnover by value, at Dhs32 million, followed by the Emirates Hills First area, Dhs30.15 million, and Al Barsha Second area, Dhs7.98 million.

 

The biggest area sold was the 49348.21 sq ft in the Nad Al Shiba area, which went for Dhs5.92 million. A 25574 sq ft plot in the Al Nahda Second Area was acquired for Dhs32 million, while 15803 sq ft of Al Barsha Second was disposed of for Dhs3.48 million.

 

During the period under review 18 mortgages worth Dhs73.48 million were registered, the most significant of which as the Dhs32 million for an area at Al Nahda Second. There was another for Dhs19.14 million on an area in Al Barsha First
