More than 400 houses, labour camps and other buildings in Manama have been found to be dangerous, the GDN has reported. The Manama Municipality is now expected to take legal action against owners who refuse to comply with safety rules, said Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs Minister Ali Saleh Al Saleh.
It follows scrutiny of 56 blocks by municipality officials, who still have another 14 to go before they complete their inspection.
