Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger have named their daughter Lyla.
The Guardians Of The Galaxy actor, 41, officially announced their baby's birth in a sweet Instagram Monday, sharing a photo of him and his wife tenderly holding the newborn's hand.
'We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt,' Pratt said. 'We couldn’t be happier.'
'Both mom and baby are doing great. We are extremely blessed,' he continued, signing off: 'Love Katherine and Chris.'
Katherine' brother Patrick first confirmed the birth to ET on Sunday, while at a market in Santa Barbara, CA.
'They're doing great -- just got her a little gift,' said the 26-year-old actor, who could be seen 'carrying a package with a pink ribbon.'
Birth rumors began when Katherine's parents Maria Shriver, 64, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, 73, as well as the remaining Schwarzenegger siblings, paid a visit to Katherine and Chris' residence on Friday.
Maria returned later that day to spend some more quality time with her daughter, who may or may not have given birth sometime that day.
According to ET's source, Chris was reportedly seen at a Santa Monica-area hospital on Friday.
The couple's pregnancy was confirmed by Maria on May 1, when Pratt appeared as a guest on her Instagram Live series #HomeTogether.
'You're gonna have another beautiful family member,' said Shriver to Pratt at the time.
Days later, Katherine was spotted for the first time with a visible baby bump, while out walking her dog.
Though this is Schwarzenegger's first child, Pratt already shares a seven-year-old son Jack with ex wife Anna Faris, 43.
News of Katherine's pregnancy came just 10-months after her wedding to Chris, which took place in June of 2019.
He had proposed to Katherine in January of that year, less than a year after they began dating in June of 2018.
Days prior to the birth of their newborn, the Jurassic World star uploaded a snapshot of himself and his pregnant wife with the caption: 'Ready to pop, still don't stop.'
In the photo, Katherine looked heavily pregnant in a black tank top and leggings as she posed prom style with Chris.
