Miraculously Lebanese singer Wael Jassar survived death after the plane he was on operated by Tunisian Air malfunctioned and the pilot was forced to keep the plane in the air for an extra 25 minutes. It was said that the plane’s wheels of the plane would not open to allow it to land and one of the plane’s mechanics on board fixed the problem manually.
.The incident left all passengers in a state of utter fear praying for their lives.
Wael was heading from Beirut to Tunisia to hold a special performance in celebration of the 56 anniversary of the Tunisian independence. The theme of the celebrations is “Yawm Al Walae La Tunis” (A a day of devotion to Tunisia).
Strict security measures were taken to ensure that chaos did not break out after a number of individuals vowed to stop the performance of Wael at any price. The individuals are part of the Islamic parties that have rose to power in Tunisia and who refuse to have any form of entertainment events take place in Tunisia.
