Syrian director Ayman Dili shot his new TV film Al Mutahawwel (The Transferred) which is based on Franz Kafka's novel The Metamorphosis, according to the daily Syria Times.
The film deals with the story of a teacher who travels to the United Arab Emirates and the difficulties he faces as a result of his journey. The teacher meets a lot of difficulties as a result of his inability to meet all the demands of his relatives who become very greedy when they heard about his new job.
The film deals with the problems from which the Syrian expatriates face as a result of their inability to adapt to new situations.
Costarring in the film are Mohammed Hariri, Lina Hawareneh and Wafaa Muselli.
Dili graduated from Cinema Institute in Italy. He has directed a number of successful TV films – Albawaba.com
