Euphoria is coming back for a third season after a four-year break. The story will jump ahead five years, and Sydney Sweeney will play Cassie again, but this time she is working as an OnlyFans model. The new clip showcases Cassie's new hobby, as she dresses as a bunny.
In the video, Cassie's fiancé, Nate (Jacob Elordi), remarks that she is "spread-eagled on the internet" while he is "working all day."
At the end of Season 2, fans will remember that Cassie put herself through a lot of shame because she loved Nate, who doesn't seem very committed.
Rue's story ended with her narrowly avoiding drug dealer Laurie (Martha Kelly). Laurie reappears in the Season 3 trailer, this time in Mexico, where she poses a new threat.
It looks like Lexi (Maude Apatow), Maddy (Alexa Demie), Jules (Hunter Schafer), and other characters will be back for a short time in the trailer.
At the beginning of the trailer, Rue is actually on the run, talking about her life as a drifter as she gets more involved with drugs and her unpaid debts.
The trailer intercuts Cassie's on-camera antics with her tense relationship with Nate. At one point, a housekeeper helps her film while Nate bursts in. The trailer also gives us a brief look at the proposed couple's fancy wedding.
Maddy, Jules, and Lexi are still dealing with past mistakes as they face the unknowns of adulthood.
After months of rumors about whether the show would even come back, the much-anticipated follow-up to the hit HBO show is finally here. Before the news broke, a star revealed to the Daily Beast their belief that the show would never produce a third season. Another individual expressed distress over the prolonged pause in production.
Between statements, the show was plagued by claims of a "toxic" workplace. At the time, the deaths of major star Angus Cloud and producer Kevin Turen in 2023 made people question the show. The growing careers of Zendaya, Sweeney, and Elordi outside of the show made scheduling even harder, which pushed back production even more.
The third season will finally start on April 12.
