Dreams do come true and Iraqi singer Shatha Hassoun is proof of that! The rising starlet fulfilled a lifelong dream of hers when she performed at the Hala February Festival this month.
Shatha took to the stage alongside two big names in the music world, Lebanese singer Najwa Karam and Saudi singer Abadi Al Jawhar - a dream for any newbie in the business.
The young singer dazzled in a gold figure-hugging dress, teamed up with a red necklace and natural makeup!
According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, Shatha expressed her utmost joy and honor at singing at the prestigious festival and said: “I’m so happy and cannot describe my feelings of joy for taking part in the Hala February Festival, which was one of my lifelong dreams. The festival has added so much to my professional career and that’s why I had prepared numerous surprises for my fans, including a special Kuwaiti song.”
Shatha had begun rehearsals for her concert immediately after arriving in Kuwait because she wanted to live up to the high expectations of her fans.
However, the busy bee still had some time on her hands to guest appear on the “Sahrat Hala Febrayer” show (The Hala February Evening Show), by special invitation from Kuwait TV.
Following her grand performance, Miss Hassoun held a number of interviews with Kuwaiti TV and Rotana TV, where she commented: “I cannot express the joy I felt during my performance and the love I received from my fans; those were beyond my expectations. I felt that people truly loved me and that I fulfilled all their requests by taking photos and signing autographs for them.”
