Egyptian controversial singer/actress Ruby has expressed her astonishment at having her film “Al Shawq” (Desire) nominated for the prestigious Oscars Awards in the foreign film category. Ruby stressed that she was not expecting such a nomination and is very happy and honored, considering a mere nomination a major sign of success for the film.
The film stars Ruby and her sister Kuki along with actors Ahmad Azmi and Sawsan Badr. It is directed by Khaled Al Hajar.
