Palestinian artist Qasem Al Najar congratulated his friend, fellow Pali superstar and Arab Idol Mohammed Assaf, on the huge success of his movie “Ya Tair Ya Tayer” (The Idol).
Qasem posted on his Facebook page saying, “What pride it is to see someone from your own country achieve such a huge success. Assaf’s success is a success for all Palestinians.”
He added, “Congrats on achieving such a huge success with your new movie, which tells the story of Palestinians under occupation. Palestinians never give up on reaching their goals.”
Qasem believes that The Idol's success is a victory for the Palestinian case.
