Malaika Arora's father commits suicide from 6th floor

ALBAWABA - The father of Indian actress and model Malaika Arora, Anil Arora recently died outside his house by falling off the residence's terrace on Wednesday, Sep. 10, 2024, in Mumbai setting India's local news outlets ablaze, according to local Indian police. 

According to the Hindustan Times, the reason for his suicide is still unknown as the local police have not recovered any suicidal notes written by the father in question. Still, the body was recovered and sent for post-mortem.

According to A Nahar, Anil fell from the sixth floor resulting in his death after he was taken to the hospital by local police but passed away before arriving there.

Other celebrities including Malaika Arora's ex-husband Arbaaz Khan, ex-boyfriend Arjun Kapoor, and other members of the Khan family were also spotted at the scene where the incident occurred. 

Malaika Arora's family members including her sister Amrita Arora her husband Shakeel Ladak, and her son Arhaan Khan with the addition of local Mumbai police. 

Arora was reportedly not home when her father committed suicide but after hearing the devastating news, she rushed all the way from Pune city to Mumbai. Moreover, local police are still investigating the issue at hand.

A source claimed that Anil "didn't commit suicide" but that he died due to an "accident" which is why many members of his family were shocked to receive news of his death.

Social media users took to comment sections discussing the matter at hand and offered Malaika Arora their condolences while others asked media outlets to "leave her alone for now" due to losing her father: 

"Please let her be alone for now ok"

"Leave them alone. Give them their privacy."

"I am really amazed by the media. Wherever they go, whatever the situation, they are always followed by the media. If possible, when they want to go to the toilet the journalists will follow them. Even in times of grief like this, there is no privacy for the artist. There is no respect."
