The singer Yousif Arafat has been awarded the prestigious ‘Best Jordanian Musician 2012’ award at the annual ‘Jordan Awards’ held as part of a festival of his homeland.
Arafat has talked of his joy at being awarded the honour, saying, “I consider myself a the beginning of my career and I am the youngest among those present for I recently turned 19 years old, and I am honored at being presented with the award amidst the presence of such renowned singers.”
