ALBAWABA - Jimmy Kimmel hits back hard as Trump reignites feud over late-night jokes.

Jimmy Kimmel, the host of the late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel, responded to President Donald Trump's late-night social media post calling for him to be taken off the air again on Thursday night by making fun of the president's falling approval numbers.

Kimmel brought up Trump's Truth Social post at the start of his opening monologue. He called the comic "a man with NO TALENT and VERY POOR TELEVISION RATINGS," accused him of "completely biased coverage," and told ABC to "Get the bum off the air."

Kimmel thanked viewers nationwide, saying, "Special hello to those of you who are watching from the White House, and you know who you are."

The post was made by the president at 12:49 a.m. ET on Thursday, eleven minutes after Kimmel's show ended. "He watches us live," he explained. Good morning, Mr. President. How are you?

As Kimmel talked more about Trump, he joked, "Thanks for watching us on TV instead of YouTube... In a strange way, fans like you keep us on the air.

He then said, "It's also cute that he posts about our show while he's on the toilet, even though the affair is the biggest sex scandal in the history of the American presidency."

What did Kimmel say in response to Trump's jibe about the polls?

When Trump said that his show didn't get good numbers, Kimmel told him, "You should listen to him, because if anyone knows about bad ratings, it's that person." The comedian then played parts of news clips that showed President Trump's approval numbers falling to all-time lows. Kimmel said, "I've lost track of how many times the president has told me to leave the show." He also called Trump a "snowflake." He then said, "If your neighbor made this many threats, you wouldn't have any trouble getting a restraining order..." It is upsetting.

What did Kimmel say about the time he was suspended?

"You've done this before." In September, you tried to terminate my employment. It did not work. I respect how determined you are, Mr. President. I'm going to guess that you're watching tonight, so how about this? He said, "I'll go when you go." "Until then, if it's okay with you, I'd like to borrow a phrase from you." "Quiet piggy," he went on, referring to Trump's recent rowdy words toward a female reporter. In September, Kimmel's show was halted after the late-night host criticized Trump and "his MAGA gang" for the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Trump was pleased that Kimmel was fired and said, "The ratings-poor Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED." ABC deserves praise for finally having the guts to do what needed to be done. But Kimmel came back on after a week off because Disney, which owns ABC, was heavily criticized and the Trump administration was accused of trying to silence people. Trump was angry that ABC chose to bring Kimmel back on the show, and he said he would sue the network, saying Kimmel was working as an "arm" of the Democratic Party. Someone said, "I can't believe ABC Fake News gave Jimmy Kimmel his job back." They also said that the comedian has low ratings and "puts the network in jeopardy by playing 99% positive Democrat GARBAGE."

Only a few days ago, a Reuters/Ipsos poll found that Trump's approval rate had dropped to 38%, which is the lowest level seen in his second term. This led Kimmel to make fun of the number. What the study also found was that only 20% of people liked how Trump handled the Jeffrey Epstein files scandal, and 70% think the government is hiding the convicted sex offender's supposed client list.
