Moroccan singer-sensation Jannat - bursting back into the Maghrab music scene - has finally completed recording her long-anticipated new album that looks on track for a Spring release.
According to Middle East news sources, Jannat - who rose to fame as a child-star - has just wrapped the last song of the album titled “Wahshni” (Missing Him). The song joins a repertoire of the songstress's operatic anthems and pop numbers, and is brought to us by the writing and composition of Aziz Al Shafie and by Tareq Abdel Jaber respectively.
The album marks a musical comeback for Jannat after a three interlude away from the spotlight and features 12 artistic collaborations in songs that feature the contributions of illustrious song poets and composers like Tamer Hussein, Ashraf Salim, Amir Tuaymah, Ahmad Adel and Aziz Al Shafie.
