ALBAWABA - An arrest warrant was issued against Turkish actress and model Hande Erçel after being listed in the famous drug-related investigation in Turkey. Her former boyfriend, Hakan Sabancı, was also mentioned on the list.
Haberler reported that a detention order was issued against 16 people, including former Galatasaray president Burak Elmas, former Beşiktaş president Fikret Orman, Hakan Sabancı, Kerim Sabancı, Didem Soydan, Güzide Duran, and Hande Erçel. 14 people were arrested.
Turkish media reported that Hande Erçel could not be detained because she was abroad, and she will be arrested at the airport if she returns to Turkey.

Hande Erçel makes her first comment on the arrest warrant:
In response to the arrest warrant news, Hande said in a statement via Instagram, "I have been abroad for about a month due to my education. Last night, like you, I learned about the matter from the news reports, and I will be returning to my country to clarify the situation, make the necessary statements, and give my testimony."
She added, "I am someone who loves my country and trusts in my government and Turkish justice. I believe the situation will be clarified as soon as possible."
