The Radio and Television Supreme Council of Turkey (RTÜK) said it has started an investigation after getting many complaints from the public shortly after the show aired. RTÜK claimed in an official statement that the show supposedly attacks the family structure, goes against moral and national values, takes advantage of women, and affects the public consciousness. The council stressed its duty to uphold societal norms, especially given how internet platforms affect young people.
RTÜK also said that its monitoring experts are carefully looking over the content and that if infractions are found, the laws in place will be followed to deal with them.
