ALBAWABA - Fans across the Arab world are following the announcement of a sudden and severe deterioration in the health of Kuwaiti actress Hayat Al-Fahad.
The Kuwaiti Union for Artistic and Theatrical Production announced in an official statement that the "First Lady of Gulf Cinema" was urgently transferred to the intensive care unit after an emergency health setback that required immediate medical intervention.
The statement described the artist's condition as "unstable" and requiring close and intensive monitoring by her medical team, confirming that Hayat Al-Fahad is currently in a critical stage.
Additionally, the Kuwaiti artist's official page confirmed the news with a post asking her large fan base to pray for her speedy recovery, noting that her health indicators had noticeably declined in recent hours.
Social media had recently been abuzz with rumors about the artist's death, news which her daughter and close sources categorically denied.
Her manager, Yousef Al-Ghaith, confirmed at the time that the death reports were completely false, explaining that Al-Fahad was still receiving medical care in a Kuwaiti hospital since returning from treatment in Britain last February.
