Lights, camera, preach! Hani Salama is just about ready to roll tape for a seven-day shoot of the indoor scenes for his new television drama "Al Da'iyah" (The Preacher), directed by Mohammad Al Adel, at the Ahmas Studios in Cairo. The scenes produced by Jamal Al Adel will also feature Safa Al Toukhi, Ahmad Fahmi, Ahmad Ratib, Riham Abdel Ghafour, Rahma Hassan and Alia Assaf.
According to the Middle East news portal Elaph, the Egyptian actor will also be filming the outdoor scenes at the Egyptian Media Production City.
The Ramadan drama written by Midhat Al Adel may not be a religious one, but it does reveal that preachers got probs in life and love, just like everybody else. It looks like the former casanova has turned over a new leaf with his role as a preacher dude and being appointed as the real life UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for the region.
