ALBAWABA - The Musicians and Actors Syndicates suspended Haifa Wehbe from working in Egypt because she breached her contract with a film production company by failing to attend a North Coast performance, despite having received the agreed-upon sum.
As representatives of the Federation of Artistic Syndicates, Ashraf Zaki of the Actors Syndicate and Mustafa Kamel of the Musicians Syndicate issued an official letter. After suspending artist Haifa Wehbe from work and preventing her from obtaining a new license, Ashraf Zaki asked Mustafa Kamel to activate the Federation of Syndicates by requiring the legally, morally, and administratively imposed cooperation.
Wehbe had received the contract deposit from the production company, but she had breached the terms of the artistic contract and refused to implement the Actors Syndicate's investigation committee's decision.
At the same time, a concert organizer officially complained to the Musicians Syndicate, claiming that Haifa Wehbe had financially harmed them by not holding a concert on the North Coast on 7/19, even though they had received the agreed amount.

We thoroughly examined the complaint and found it to be true. The investigation and legal affairs committees of the Musicians Syndicate and the Actors Syndicate reached a consensus, denying artist Haifa Wehbe a work permit to perform artistic concerts or act until they resolve the disputes brought before them.

Mustafa Kamel said that the legal affairs department would notify him of the day that the artist and the complainant need to be present for the inquiry and that he would be informed of this date no later than next week when questioned about the possibility of scheduling a date with Haifa Wehbe.
