There are over 30 Arab TV series to look forward to this Ramadan, but there's only one Arab-Turkish production to set your eyes on for the first time in Arab-Turkish TV history.

"Big House" is set to broadcast on TRT Arabic this summer to an audience of over 350 million viewers. Judging by the name, "Big House" refers to Turks and Arabs being one big family on the show, under the same "roof."

The joint production will "feature stories mirroring Turk-Arab relationships, and recount comic events in an interesting and surprising way.

"Big House will follow the story of seven families from Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Morocco, Egypt, Syria and Lebanon, and how their paths cross in Turkey," according to Daily Sabah.

The story begins when a Turkish boy sends a Whatsapp message that goes viral in Arab countries. One of the main characters is a Saudi billionaire in search of his roots stretching back to the Ottoman Empire.

The cast of the upcoming drama includes: Bedir Yolucu, Ezgi Sümer and Serdal Genç from Turkey; Esma Saib Efendi, Hasen Asiri, Faysal al-Umeri, Abdulaziz al Sikarin and Nur Huseyn from Saudi Arabia; Meryem Huseyn, Muna Huseyn and Ubeyr Khadar from Kuwait; Faydam Elham Boaziz, Nesrin Katrub, İman al Garbi, Halime al Saidi, İbtisam Okadir and Abdurrahim al Gazvani from Morocco; Dime Beya, Muhammed al Haci, Cirar Aga, Şadi Yusuf, Hela Siyasena and Betül Muhammed from Syria; Hamid Merzuk, Martina Adil and Melik Jamal from Egypt; and Rabi Zain from Lebanon.

120 Arab and Turkish crewmembers are currently working on shooting the drama's 30 episodes (each 45 minutes long) in Antalya, Turkey.
