The last two musical concerts of 'Febrayer Al Kuwait' (February of Kuwait) by Rotana were held at the weekend at the Ice Skating Rink. Four singers performed at the concert held on Thursday, which started at 9:30 pm with young Saudi singer Ismael Mubarak, who performed for about an hour.

This concert had a Saudi flavor, as three singers were from Saudi Arabia, and the majority of the audience where Saudi. At 10.45 pm, Saudi singer Ibrahim Al-Hakami came onstage and performed for an hour and 10 minutes. He was the winner of the popular TV show Super Star in 2006. He has lost weight and looks great.

Popular Lebanese singer Najwa Karam came onstage at 12:15 am. It seems that not many of her fans attended this concert. She released her first album in 1989, and is known for singing in Lebanese slang only. Karam concluded at 1:20 am. The last singer was veteran Saudi artiste Rabeh Saqer, who came onstage at 1:40 am and welcomed the audience, expressing his support for his country during the current political situation. He released his first album in 1983 and became popular in the 1980s. Saqer concluded at 4:00 am.

The last musical concert was held on Friday night with four singers participating. It was one of the most well-attended concerts as all seats were sold out two weeks ago. Also, for the first time, more than 90 percent of the audience was already present from the beginning. The concert started at 9:35 pm with young Kuwaiti singer Mutref Al-Mutref, who has gained great publicity in his short career. He is the son of the late singer Yousef Al-Mutref, and has inherited some of his style. Mutref presented one song playing on lute (oud) and concluded at 10:45 pm. His fans were screaming, not wanting him to leave.

At 11:00 am, young Libyan singer Ayman Al-Atar came onstage. He was a participant in the popular show Super Star in 2004, but he is not very popular in Kuwait. He concluded at 11:50 pm. At midnight, popular Lebanese singer Alisa came onstage. She has lost much of her fame after her rude behavior with fans, especially the latest incident two days ago after she arrived at the airport and pushed approaching fans away and threw the flowers they brought for her on the ground.

One of her bodyguards also hit a fan and the video spread on social media. Only a few in the audience clapped for her and nobody sang with her, and were busy chatting or using their phones. To draw them in, Alisa sang popular songs of late singer Abdulhaleem and popular singer Fairouz, and some in audience started interacting with her. She concluded at 1:15 am.

This concert concluded with Iraqi star Majid Al-Muhandis, who holds Saudi nationality. He came onstage at 1:35 am. The audience, the majority of whom were women, were calling him and singing his songs, and was the star of the concerts. He concluded at 3:15 am.
