ALBAWABA - Former child star Daniel Curtis Lee shares troubling update on homeless friend Tylor Chase.

Daniel Curtis Lee, a former child actor, has shared a sad report on his attempts to help Tylor Chase, a longtime friend and fellow Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide cast member, who is currently homeless.

On Christmas Day, Daniel posted about how his attempt to do a good thing did not go as planned. To get Tylor off the streets before a heavy rainstorm in Southern California, Daniel drove almost fifty miles from Los Angeles to Riverside to pay for a hotel room for him. He had a simple goal. He wanted his friend to be safe and dry and toasty.

But, just hours after Tylor checked in, motel managers called Daniel with terrible news. Daniel reports that someone left the room door ajar. Someone turned the refrigerator over. Someone put the microwave in the bathtub. The room had a lot of damage.

Daniel said that Tylor's family had given him a warning ahead of time. They told him that putting Tylor in hotels had not gone well in the past. But Daniel wished this time to be different. In his emotional post, he said he was wrong to think that staying at a hotel by himself would fix things.

In the mid-2000s, Tylor Chase became famous for playing roles as a child. He was on "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide," working with Daniel Curtis Lee. After not being famous anymore, Tylor had a challenging time, like many other former child stars. Reports about his mental health and cash problems have come out over the years. Lately, he has been homeless in California.

Daniel took the opportunity to also talk badly about California's support services. He said it's very difficult to get real help for people who clearly need it. He was frustrated about the lack of choices available when someone refuses help or falls through the cracks.

You can get help. Shaun Weiss, a child actor famous for "The Mighty Ducks," has supposedly secured Tylor a spot at a rehab center in San Clemente, California. But so far, Tylor has said he won't go.

Daniel says he is looking for other ways to help for now. Even so, he expressed a sentiment that many families and friends of individuals facing difficulties are very familiar with. Ultimately, Tylor himself has to choose to accept help.

The situation has led to new talks about mental health, homelessness, and the long-term effects of being a kid star.
