ALBAWABA - American comedian Tony Hinchcliffe found himself in hot water across social media, specifically X (formerly known as Twitter) after he made a "racist" joke about Puerto Rico and its people by calling the Caribbean island "Floating garbage" at the Madison Square Garden Trump rally.

While speaking, Hinchcliffe said, "There’s literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it’s called Puerto Rico".

The joke caused outrage on Musk's X and resulted in a swarm of hateful comments towards Hinchliffe as they called him a "Racist" and an "Unfanny" comedian. A while later, Hinchliffe took to his official X account and addressed the joke in question.

He replied to a post by X account 'Kamala HQ', "These people have no sense of humor. Wild that a vice presidential candidate would take time out of his “busy schedule” to analyze a joke taken out of context to make it seem racist. I love Puerto Rico and vacation there. I made fun of everyone…watch the whole set. I’m a comedian Tim…might be time to change your tampon".

He further made jokes about Latinos that they "love making babies, they don't pull out... they just come inside," causing even more outrage from users on social media.
