1. Lightyear 

 

The movie which will be released on June 17th, tells the story of Buzz Lightyear as he embarks on an intergalactic adventure with a group of ambitious recruits and his robot companion.
 

Lightyear follows the legendary Space Ranger after he's marooned on a hostile planet 4.2 million light-years from Earth alongside his commander and their crew.

2. The Bad Guys

Based on the kids' graphic novel series by Aaron Blabey, “The Bad Guys” follows a group of fun-loving criminals who lean into their rap as the villains of the animal kingdom for thrills and profit.

The misunderstood criminal animals attempt to become good, with some disastrous results along the way.

Release date:  March 31, 2022 

3. Minions: The Rise of Gru

The untold story of one twelve-year-old's dream to become the world's greatest supervillain. 

This comedy/animation production tells the story of young Gru (creator of the minions)  as he joins a group of villains called the Vicious 6 alongside his minions, Luckily, he finds an unlikely source for guidance  and soon discovers that even bad guys need a little help from their friends.

Release date: July 1, 2022

4. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

Four years later, we finally have a concrete timeline, with Puss in Boots: The Last Wish expected to release on September 23, 2022.

Puss in Boots discovers that his passion for adventure has taken its toll: he has burned through eight of his nine lives. Puss sets out on an epic journey to find the mythical Last Wish and restore his nine lives.

5. The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild

Buck, Crash, and Eddy try to keep the Lost World from being overtaken by dinosaurs, as they set out to find a place of their own.

It feels like the franchise went in a different direction with “The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild,” deciding to focus explicitly on pleasing their target audience of children instead of maintaining the humor that resonated with all ages in the previous films.
