After each actor going their own way in showbiz, Syrian actors Bassam Kousa and Abbas al-Noury are joining forces once again!
It’s been eight years since they’ve last worked together, but the stars are now working hand-in-hand on a new traditional Syrian drama titled “Al Ghirbal” (The Riddle).
The last production featuring the two together was Season 1 of “Bab Al Hara” (The Neighborhood Gate) in 2006.
The actors have already started filming their scenes for the upcoming drama in Damascus, with director Naji Tu’mi. The script was written by Rida Hamed.
According to Sayidaty.net, the drama is a “Golden Line” production and will star a number of renowned Syrian actors like Abdel Minem Amairi, Amal Arafeh, Muna Wassif, Abdel Rahman Al Rashi and Mohammad Khair Al Jarrah.
The series revolves around the conflict between good and evil and takes place in 1927. A number of social issues are tackled throughout the series, while disputes erupt that are filled with bloodshed and battles in the fight for power.
