ALBAWABA - Johnson Wen was charged by court, the person who grabbed Ariana Grande at the Thai opening of "Wicked: For Good" on Thursday night.
BBC News reports that Johnson Wen has been charged with being a public nuisance in Singapore. In a video that went viral, Johnson Wen was seen jumping over a barrier and rushing at Grande on the red carpet while her co-star Cynthia Erivo jumped in to protect her. Wen could be fined up to S$2000 ($1,540) if he is found guilty. The local news says that Wen plans to plead guilty.
Pyjama Man is the name of the 26-year-old Australian's Instagram account. He often writes about meeting famous people at events and openings. He has been on stage before at performances by Katy Perry, The Weeknd, the Chainsmokers, and other artists. Wen wrote on his Instagram story on Thursday that he was "free after being arrested."

Wen's post, "Dear Ariana Grande," about rushing the red carpet sparked a frenzy on social media. There were many negative comments about "Thank You for Letting Me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You." "Wow, you do this a lot..." "How are you not in jail?" asked one user. "Someone needs to take action against him because his conduct is clearly a crime," said another.
