118,000 people! Kanye West makes history at Istanbul concert

ALBAWABA - Controversial American rapper Kanye West recently made history after over 118,000 fans reportedly attended his concert in Istanbul, Turkey. 

According to Billboard, citing Turkish reports, Ye told his fans, "I just want to tell y'all, we just broke the record, 118,000, largest stadium performance of all time." The performance took place at Istanbul’s Atatürk Olympic Stadium on Saturday, drawing fans from across the globe, including Russia, Kazakhstan, the UK, the US, Europe and the Middle East.

The concert featured other artists such as Yener Cevik, MAvi, Sena Sener, Pera, and Motive. Additionally, renowned rapper Travis Scott also joined Kanye West on stage during the performance.

Similar to previous concerts, Ye's two-hour performance featured the iconic "Planet Earth" stage, with added DJ sets, lights, fog effects, and fireworks. The rapper performed several fan-favorite tracks, including "Runaway," "Power," "Stronger," and "Heartless." 

According to Turkiye Today, the concert was also live-broadcast on Ye's official YouTube channel, garnering millions of views within minutes. Moreover, another video went viral on social media after capturing a fan proposing to his partner while Kanye West performed "Runaway."
