ALBAWABA - Çağatay Ulusoy and Elçin Sangu unite in gripping spy thriller.

In Turkish movies, October 29, 2025, will be a big day. There will be a lot of action and stress. Ağatay Ulusoy and Elçin Sangu have made a stunning new movie called Uykucu (Sleeper), which is about a group of people whose lives are linked and who are about to be found out.

Can Ulkay directed the movie, and he does a great job of combining a serious story with action. Poll Films made the project, which aims to make people feel both a strong need to act and a deep desire to help. The film, which was written by Kubilay Tat, stands out for the way its story is intertwined with the characters' inner struggles.

Agent Ferman (Çağatay Ulusoy) is a man of service and is known for being cold-blooded. Saye, played by Elçin Sangu, is a strange woman who is locked away from the outside world thanks to her past. She works deep within the organization. Both of them are pulled into the same darkness, but from different points of view. As soon as they meet, their plans and their inner lives start to fall apart.

During the movie, the audience sees both the violent scenes and the spiritual fights between the characters. The stress in the movie stays high because of the clash between Ferman's strict personality and Saye's emotional armor. This meeting is not merely a spy story; it also explores the boundary between survival and the pursuit of survival rights.

Uykucu is a fantastic movie, even with its cast. Ferit Kaya, Barış Falay, Tamer Levent, Cengiz Bozkurt, Musa Uzunlar, and Hüseyin Avni Danyal add more depth to the plot by playing characters that show different sides of the story. Each player not only propels the story forward, but also significantly contributes to the character development.

Because of this, Uykucu goes from being a simple action movie to a movie that makes you think about how it analyzes people's minds.

The movie puts just as much emphasis on the characters' inner changes as it does on the fight scenes. It looks at how Ferman's past traumas affect his connection with Saye in particular. It makes the audience feel like they are not just watching the characters but also being with them.

Someone like Saye is thought of as someone who fights both physically and mentally. People will always remember this fragile but strong woman thanks to Elçin Sangu's act.

Uykucu is not like other spy movies because it is about relationships, facing the past, and inner battles. People in the room not only wonder, "What will happen?" but also "What would I do if I were here?"

There, the movie has already proven itself to be one of the most ambitious home releases of the year, thanks to its pace and deeper meaning.
