Ink enthusiasts travelled to the Russian Tattoo Expo at Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre in Moscow.

Ink enthusiasts and world famous tattoo artists have descended on Moscow for the Russian Tattoo Expo.

The two-day festival kicked off today at the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre bringing tattoo artists from across the globe to showcase their talents, with thousands expected in attendance over the weekend.

The Expo features world-famous masters such as Nikko Hurtado, Ami James, Nissaco, Gakkin and many others, with workshops and a competition among artists to celebrate the best needlework.

A number of body art fans have showcased their intricate black and grey designs, with one woman covering her entire neck and arms in black ink, while others opt for mesmerising features.    

Alongside the intricate designs, attendees are treated to a host of ink-related workshops to add to their ideas for future body art. 

The world-famous Expo boasts many international brands, interviews with artists, and a food court to refresh after bravely going under the needle.
