ALBAWABA CBS America recently reported that Saudi Arabia has made a remarkable request to purchase the world's most expensive medicine, Zolgensma, from the American pharmaceutical company Novartis. The medication is valued at a staggering 3 million dollars.

This substantial investment in healthcare is intended for the treatment of a young Saudi child who is battling spinal muscular atrophy, a debilitating and life-threatening genetic disorder.

Zolgensma, developed by Novartis, has garnered international attention for its groundbreaking approach to treating spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), a rare genetic disorder that affects the muscles, often leading to severe disability and shortened life expectancy.

The medication, administered through a single injection, offers a ray of hope for those facing this challenging condition, simplifying treatment regimens and potentially enhancing the quality of life for patients.

However, it is essential to note that, as of now, there has been no official statement confirming the details.
