New pictures have for the first time revealed what the upcoming Star Wars theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida will look like.
The images taken at Lake Buena Vista show spaceships and transmitter masts beginning to take shape alongside rocky landscapes.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is due to open its doors in autumn 2019, with thousands of excited fans expected to flock to the attraction to immerse themselves in the Star Wars films of new and old.
Walt Disney Imagineering executive Scott Trowbridge, who is overseeing the project, said in 2015: 'Our intent is to make it feel as if you just walked into one of the movies.
'Bringing to life in the physical world gives us the opportunity to play with a whole bunch of things we've never done before... to really engage all of the senses.
'What does that street feel like? What does that animal smell like? What does blue milk taste like?'
The ambitious new attraction is part of a $2billion (£1.43billion) investment by Disney in its theme parks.
The same intergalactic land also is under construction at the Anheim park in southern California.
Once completed, it will include approximately 10,000 tons of structural steel and 200,000 square feet of hand-carved rock work.
Images of the Anaheim attraction were taken in March this year by mapping service Nearmap - an international provider of high resolution aerial imagery, usually for property developers and architecture firms.
MailOnline ran images of the site taken by the company in January, with the latest pictures showing that progress is clearly being made on the 14-acre site.
Disney has released models, renderings and a limited number of pictures of what all of the attractions will look like when they open to the public.
These authentic lands will have two signature attractions, allowing guests to lead their own adventures.
The first will allow park-goers to take part an immersive battle between the Resistance and the First Order.
The second will let riders take control of one of the most recognizable ships in the galaxy, the Millennium Falcon, on a customised secret mission.
The Disney Parks group is continually adapting and expanding to cater to customer demand.
In 2016, Shanghai Disneyland opened, while in May 2017 the new World of Avatar attraction at Disney World's Animal Kingdom in Florida was launched.
Elsewhere, Disney has announced a two billion euro (£1.75billion) investment in its Paris theme park that will see an extension featuring Marvel, Frozen and Star Wars attractions.
The three new areas at the Walt Disney Studios Park will be rolled out in phases, starting in 2021.
