A Saudi woman has sought help from Dubai Police to find her mother who has gone missing for more than 35 years. After her mother was divorced, her father insisted to deprive her from not seeing her two children, and remained incommunicado since then.
Director of the General Department of Human Rights at Dubai Police, Brigadier Mohammed Al Murr was quoted by an Arabic daily as saying that the woman identified only as Khlood, aged 41 had learned that her missing mother was living in UAE after she tied the knot with another man, and that she did not know any other details regarding the place where she was living, nor the identity of her second husband.
“I have no information about the family of my mother in India”, Khlood said, adding, "my father who passed away two months ago refuse all my attempts to trace my mother”.
