After the picture of the cab driver went viral, he was called by the police.
A cab driver in China was suspended after he was spotted wearing a skincare mask during his work hours.
Chen Yiqun had applied the mask to freshen up his skin during the night shift on Friday. He was however spotted driving wearing the mask by a woman who clicked his picture and shared it online.
"What an exquisite taxi driver," wrote one social media user. "Girls everywhere take note, you have to take care of your skin no matter how busy you are," said another, according to South China Morning Post.
After the picture of the cab driver went viral, he was called by the police and suspended from work for three days by his employer.
"Wearing a sheet mask on the job could be dangerous as it could fall off and obscure the driver's vision," police said.
