WWA Group has reported the successful completion of its largest un-reserved construction equipment auction in Dubai to date. Gross auction sales exceeded $23 million, and involved the participation of over 410 registered bidders from 33 countries.
The auction was held from March 13-15 by its wholly owned subsidiary World Wide Auctioneers from its facility in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). WWA's fourth video auction, held the evening of March 15, produced an additional $2.2 million in gross auction sales.
This most recent WWA auction produced the highest turnover, the highest total number of registered bidders, the most successful bidders, and the highest gross revenue realized at any WWA auction since its inception in 2000, reported a press release.
WWA now controls the majority of the market for used construction equipment auctions in Dubai. The company's auctions in December 2003 and March 2004 generated sales of $45 million or 55 percent of the $82 million total reported auction sales by all equipment auction companies in Dubai over the period.
WWA sells, through unreserved auctions, a wide variety of new and used construction, transportation, industrial, and marine equipment, focusing on markets in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia. — (menareport.com)
