A cafe in Dubai has just gained a Guinness World Record for the most expensive cup of coffee, priced at a staggering Dh 2,500 (Over $650).
Roasters, an Emirati coffee shop, gained a world record on September 13 at the company's flagship location on Boulevard Downtown Dubai, Khaleej Times reported.
Roasters, whose first branch was launched in Dubai, can now be found in 11 different locations across the country.
The brand has earned its reputation for its "focus on high-quality beans and expert brewing techniques."
Why is this cup of coffee very expensive?
Roasters revealed that this coffee cup costs over $600 as it is especially made from the very rare Panama Esmeralda Geisha coffee beans. In addition, the beans are accompanied by a delicate tiramisu, chocolate ice cream, and a signature chocolate piece designed to reflect the exclusivity of the experience.
