"The United States have already invested $1.5 billion in Algeria," the president of the export-import bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank), Philip Merrill declared Tuesday.
"We have already invested $1.5 billion in Algeria and given this country's progress in terms of stability and prospects provided by the economic reforms, we wish to be a more important investor here," Merrill said after his meeting with Algeria's President Bouteflika.
According to APS, he added that the United States intends to maintain and carry on mutually profitable and warm political relations in time. (menareport.com)
